BRENT’S UNIQUE APPROACH TO SPEAKING…
When speaking to an audience, Brent introduces them to his life story. They are often surprised to learn that he is completely blind in one eye and legally blind in the other (and that he often can’t even see who he is speaking to!!)… He talks about his chosen profession (drawing cartoons at the same time); the many people he has met and the (often funny) situations he has found himself in, attending speaking engagements and touring his Cartooning workshops around New Zealand and Australia.

It is an inspiration to many people that (despite his lack of vision) Brent has fast become a much sought after, full time, taxpaying Cartoonist, Speaker, Facilitator/Trainer and Entertainer. Numerous television appearances, stage shows, radio interviews (and hundreds of newspaper articles later), having his parents finally see what he does as a ‘real job’ is one of Brent’s favourite achievements!
